NSSA board member Dr. Lucia Scheffel, CCC-SLP, assistant professor of special education and communication disorders at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, will speak to stroke survivors and caregivers about a stroke’s impact on speech and language and the role of speech-language therapy. The talk is free and open to the public.

This talk will be a part of the Methodist College Stroke Support Group meeting. The group meets in the Cornhusker Room on the second floor next to the cafeteria.
