In a survey completed by the American Heart Association of Nebraska, one of the top concerns stroke survivors stated they had was not knowing what resources were available. The Nebraska Stroke Association is proud to provide an online resource repository, including videos with information relating to various aspects of navigating life following stroke. The videos touch on what supports are available, good questions to ask medical professionals and service providers they will encounter, and journeys of survivors and caregivers. Through these videos we hope to provide education, support, and inspiration.
We are grateful for partnerships with UNL Barkley Center, Nebraska Medicine, American Heart Association, V2 Content | Video Production, and Madonna Rehabilitation Hospital in helping to create these videos. These videos will help individuals understand what different medical disciplines offer as well as to determine what local community resources are available.
