SUPPORT
Having a stroke can be a devastating event. Stroke takes a toll that is hard to measure, not only for the survivor but also for the caregiver. There are many support groups in Nebraska and adjoining states to help you deal with the effects of stroke and regain a sense of normalcy in your life. We’ve listed a few in this PDF. You can also find information about support groups on our Events page and our Resources page. We encourage you and your loved ones to get involved with a support group. You may also find the NSSA’s Facebook group to be of help to you. It is a place for stroke survivors, caregivers, and loved ones to find answers to questions, get support, and be able to connect with other stroke survivors.
